In a “True Life in God” message of September 10, 1992, Jesus Christ says:
“I am the Author of the Messages: True Life in God; they are My gift to you all; they are to make you understand My Heart and how I stand by you always and everywhere” (September 10, 1992)
My dear friends, when have you heard of anything not coming from God that draws souls back to Him? In other words, if someone who never went to confession, never received communion, never read the Bible, never cared about anything but partying, swearing and pleasure, well if someone like that starts reading “True Life in God”, then they fall in love with Christ, with the Church, with the sacraments, and their entire life turns around… then have you the courage to stand between such a new convert and the Church and Christ?
In a “True Life in God” message of January 19, 1995, Jesus Christ says: “how can you, who preach My Word daily, not tell the times nor the signs? you, who persist in declaring that I am not the Author of this Message, I tell you: you judge by human standards, and you glory in your glory ….. beware, then, and keep your tongue from judging; (January 19, 1995)
You see my dear friends, it is with love that any new convert has to be welcomed into the fold of Christ. With love. A new convert is the repentant prodigal son, who returns home. If he found “True Life in God” in that foreign country and then he decided to return back home to the Father then who is going to stop him from his path of return towards God, his Father? God our Father, not only does He kiss his repentant prodigal son, but He hugs him. What else does He do? He sacrifices the fatten calf and throws a party where they do not only clap but sing and dance too for that is what being “merry” is. And if of course you read the Orthodox Study Bible, the fatted calf symbolizes the Eucharist. And so, God invites his prodigal son to come and partake of the Holy Eucharist and be happy. He is forgiven. Nothing else needs to be said. But there remains the jealousy of the older son. The one who represents the Christian who starts taking the gifts of God for granted, according to the Orthodox Study Bible interpretation of this parable.
Imagine this, a lost son of God who was baptized but never lived his baptism and so squandered his gifts of will and intelligence (as the Orthodox Study Bible interprets the “estate” due to the younger son). Yes imagine such a young man who goes out and parties all day and all night long. God is the furthest thing from his mind. The Eucharist, Confession, oh, unthinkable. Who needs those things anyways? Imagine such a prodigal son, receiving a “True Life in God” book one day. He opens it and starts reading. He reads words such as “Come to Me, I Jesus love you”. And imagine this young man starting to second-guess his lifestyle. All of a sudden he starts losing interest in partying and becomes more and more interested in Jesus. Then one day, while reading the “True Life in God” book, he reads that Jesus wants him to go to Confession. That’s right, to go to a priest, in a church and to tell that priest all the dirty secrets of his life, all the things he did in the past twenty years or so of life. Right. Imagine further that this young man actually goes through with it. He fights the pride and embarrassment, the thoughts which tell him that it’s useless, confession is for old women who have nothing better to do anyways. He goes and does his best to remember his sins. All this because he believes when Christ says in the messages of “True Life in God” that sins are offenses against love and against Him, Who is Love. He leaves crying tears of compunction but also of relief. A few days later, he walks over to the altar during the Divine Liturgy and lines up for Holy Communion. The first time in his entire life, aside from when he received it as a young child. He receives Holy Communion with tears in his eyes and believes that what he receives is the actual Body and Blood of his Lord and Savious, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the One Who forgave his sins a few days ago. Oh imagine the joy of this young man. He then turns his life upside down orienting it from sin and selfishness towards love which he has found in Christ and in the Church. He goes from partying on Saturday nights and sleeping until noon on Sunday mornings to attending Vesper service on Saturday nights, then confessing every month and attending Liturgy every Sunday.
Now, this is the prodigal son who returned home to the Father. Not only does the Father kiss him, but He embraces him, He gives him His only Son as Food and Drink and He calls him, “My son”. Oh what joy! Imagine this young man waking up every morning and thinking he is dreaming. He now has a beautiful wife. He is also a young father. No longer is he squandering his God-given gifts away in a foreign country. No longer is he hungry for the food of the swine. Now he is hungry for God. He is hungry for the Eucharist. He is home, resting in the Heart of His Father.
But, imagine now that the older Christian brothers and sisters of this young prodigal son, start telling him that he is being deceived by the devil. They start telling him that “True Life in God” is the work of the devil and that his soul is in danger of rotting in hell. Imagine that.
The young man is shaken up. He knows what the devil can do. You see, a prodigal son, by definition rejects God and embraces the devil. There is no middle ground. One is either with God or against God. And against God means with the devil. Well, a prodigal son, before repenting, lives a life of hell. He can fool everyone that he is happy but never himself or God. He knows deep down that his soul is in danger of hell. He knows. When he repents, confesses and receives Holy Communion, he tastes Heaven. When he turns away from his previous lifestyle, he rejects the devil and his hell. When he lives the sacraments, daily, he embraces God with all his heart and strength. You see, the fruits of a real metanoia, of a real conversion are plain and simple to see. When one falls in love with confession, with the Eucharist, with the Church, with Christ, with prayer, with the Virgin Mary and with all the children of God, then be sure my friends, be very, very sure – that is a real metanoia, and that soul belongs to God.
Now, if such a young man belongs to God, having formerly belonged to the devil, and this is all due to the young man having started his journey towards God by reading the messages entitled “True Life in God”, then, tell me sincerely, who in this world who belongs to Christ will dare to say that the messages of “True Life in God” are not a gift from God? And if in the messages we find that the author of them is Jesus Christ Himself, then what Christian will dare to say that the messages are not from Jesus Christ Himself? Who will dare to say that the Author of “True Life in God” is a liar? I hope no Christian out there will make this daring mistake.
And if anyone does dare, then know my friends, that those who do, are setting themselves against a new convert who is full of love for Christ whose journey began through and because of “True Life in God”. And if they do this, they will set themselves against love for it is out of love that this convert has abandoned his old way of life and started living a sacramental life, a life of faith, hope and love. And whoever sets himself against love, sets himself against God, because “God is love” [1 John 4:8] and every offense against love is an offense against God. And those who set themselves against God are themselves prodigal children of God who need to repent and return to God their Father.
I too was such a prodigal son who lived a loose life, away from God, away from the Church and who returned to God by reading the messages of “True Life in God”. I did not care for God and I lived as I wanted to live. I read True Life in God and my heart felt driven to respond to the love of God. And so I opened my heart to God and He in turn changed my whole being, my whole life around. I am now a husband, a father and above all a Christian. I know I am one because of the love of Christ which turned my life around. I was dead and now I’ve come to life and it all started with True Life in God.
After having opened my heart to Christ while reading True Life in God and after having been given absolution for my sins in the Sacrament the Confession and after having been given True Life in Christ in the Eucharist, I now stand with all my being, with all my heart and with all that is me, between anyone in this world and the messages of True Life in God. I profess to the whole world that the messages of “True Life in God” are written by the Hand of Christ Himself and all that they contain are True Life because it is the True Word of God. I stand now and forever, God so help me, on the side of True Life in God with one hand on the Crucifix and the other on the Holy Rosary, covered by the Holy Mantle of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and under the Pierced Side of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Let all the world and hell come against me and anyone who freely chooses to stand up for True Life in God. Love is on our side and Love has a name: Jesus Christ. They can take our bodies but our souls belong to Christ who is risen and alive forever. True Life in God is a message of Peace and Love and it is from Christ and Christ is True Life. We all now have the choice to live the messages, be against them or be indifferent to them. No matter what we choose, in the end, when we will face Christ face to Face, we will see the real truth and then it will be too late to change our answer if we chose the wrong one.
Now we have many choices. We can all be pro or against many things. In the end there will be one single choice left and that choice will be simple. With Christ or against Christ. There will be no third choice. And the end is nearer than anyone thinks.
I will end with a message from “True Life in God” where Jesus Himself speaks:
“I have converted many souls with My Message of Peace and Love, lost lambs came back to Me falling in My arms, rejoice soul! what greater miracle than a lost lamb who’s found his Master! what greater joy for the Shepherd to find His lost sheep again! anounce My Miracles of Salvation to your brothers! to your neighbours! anounce the good news, announce My works! let My Works be known, let My Miracle be known” (January 24, 1988)
I encourage you to read the above message in its entirety and I further encourage you to start with the first message
(September 20, 1986) and read up to the final message (see the Messages by date listing).
May God bless you all.
