Lord, Companion and God of my life, I have to observe today some house-duties.
I know, I know how much you have to do and how much a household requires from the mistress of the house, and I am pleased and glad you do the work; I am with you at all times, My daughter, and I tell you: your work1 is not in vain;
My thorns will be removed one after the other, for in you I shall raise disciples to glorify My Name; many of My Own betray Me and there is already now a division in My House;
…. all I ask from you is to lend Me your ear now and then during the day; you are My incense, come; ic;
1 The Lord means the household work but also His Work, I am doing, too.
