It is with immense sadness that I learnt of the passing into eternity of Vassula on 25.09.24. I didn’t know her sickness was so life-threatening and her surgery was so critical. She has finally attained what she longed for all her life and preached through the messages God gave her – communion with the Holy Trinity and the eternal bliss of paradise. May she intercede for the unity of the Church and for the salvation of humanity from her place in heaven. It is exactly one year ago that we met at the TLIG Pilgrimage to Egypt in September 2023. Little did I know that it would be for the last time.

Here in Delhi we will organise an ecumenical memorial service for her eternal repose and also to thank the Lord for her indefatigable commitment to the unity and holiness of the Church for the sake of the world.
