Is the papacy is a thing of the past…

No, it will never be of the past because the Chair of Peter will always be occupied. The Church needs a shepherd, who is the Vicar of Christ on earth. Jesus chose Peter and since then, the papacy existed and Peter’s Chair will always be there.

Does anyone even listen to the Pope any more?

The Pope has authority and power and many listen to him. He is also loved by many. However, in the messages I receive the Lord reveals that there are also those near him who contradict him and rebel against him, led by dark forces. When I was living in Rome I met in his house Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone then Archbishop and secretary of the CDF. We had met to clarify a few things about my mission. When I said that Jesus speaks about an underground rebellion in the Vatican, he agreed that this was true.

What have the recent Popes done to build and rebuild bridges with other denominations and religions (ecumenism)?

This is a very thorny question. First, I believe there is a big progress in ecumenism since Vatican II, and important steps have been achieved especially by Pope John Paul II to approach the churches together. He once said, “the elements that unite us are far greater than those that divide us.” He really worked hard. His work brought the churches closer, but not enough to accomplish the unity that Christ is asking in His messages of TLIG. He was charismatic and it will be for the benefit of the Church if the next Pope is also a charismatic Pope.

What Christ was asking was to unify the dates of Easter. This was not done. The other thing Jesus asked was not to differentiate ourselves from one another and celebrate Mass around one Altar. This was far from being accepted. The church needs to be consolidated the Lord said to me. In being divided it has weakened. The search of unity should pervade the whole life of the church and unity must be achieved. But the church has not arrived to go beyond the negative obstacles that separate them which according to Scriptures are against the fulfillment of the unity of faith, love and worship among us. No, Christ is very disappointed.

As for approaching other religions, this too had shown its progress during the time of Pope John Paul II. He was loved by the leaders of other religions. I could not say the same thing with the recent Pope.

What kind of Pope is needed to keep that ecumenical trend going? Would a non-Italian, or even non-European help?

Nationalities do not matter in this case. The Holy Spirit if consulted will choose whom He will regardless of nationality. The Holy Spirit as I said, if consulted will choose the right man of His choice to sit in Peter’s Chair. The Holy Spirit’s Will is the same as Jesus’ Will. Therefore, if the vote is done properly, the Church will achieve to have one date for Easter. Jesus had promised in the messages that if they do this step, He in His turn then, will send His Holy Spirit to lead the Church into a complete unity. Unity, the Lord said, will bring peace not only in the church but to the whole world. But so long as unity is not accepted yet, the world will continue its wars, wickedness and rebellion. Natural catastrophs will keep augmenting, that’s what the Lord said.

How does what’s going on with the papacy relate to prophecies and the times we’re living in?

It has been said, in the messages I receive from Christ that the Church, so long it does not listen to the groans of the Holy Spirit that wants the church to reconcile and unite, the Church will go through a fiery purification, with great tribulations to come and everything that has been covered will be uncovered by God. The new Pope has to have enough strength to clean up the issues of the scandals, scandals that were overlooked, and work in humility presenting thus a church with a transparent face. Only the Truth shall set the church free. The Church must not turn only as an industry, but it should remain holy and the House of God, so unless the church becomes humble, and gives more space to be guided by the Holy Spirit it will be unable to have peace and will suffer even greater trials.

We must not forget that it is the people of the church that have divided themselves and this is against God’s law of love. The Lord was warning the church in the messages, to lower her voice to hear the Lord’s Voice, to lower her head so that she sees Christ’s Head and to lower herself entirely so that He may rise her. But they would not listen. They would not believe that God was warning them. They would combat the messages of God as Jesus said once, to frenzy. Still, in spite of these tribulations, the Lord will help the church because He said so that nothing will ever destroy His Mystical Body which is the church. So many times He ended His messages saying, Ecclesia will revive.
