Jesus has asked us the readers to observe the anniversary of TLIG each year:
“…indeed if I am your ‘Feast-of-your-own-heart’; celebrate annually the date of today where I brought you and so many others to come into My Heart; and discover those innumerable treasures I kept for your times; keep this great day in mind; be by My side as you have been for the past ten years now: NEVER leave My side, walk with Me as you have done all these years; see how I educated you? see what I have accomplished? see My Wisdom? by adopting you, I adopted so many others; My path is straight, My ways of approaching you are delightful …. your King is perfect and beautiful;” November 28th 1995
What a busy year Vassula has had in travel and effort serving Jesus! Just in the past couple of months; Peru and Mexico then back to Europe – then 28 hours round trip in transit to North America to attend to True Life in God work, then onto France for 5 meetings last week. Home 2 days and off to India and the Philippines. This is at least 30,000 miles of travel in just 2 months! And True Life in God is still growing.
2013 will be our 28th year from the start of the messages. Unprecedented in evangelization …. an important year lies ahead with good things in store! Can we keep pace with the athletic effort Vassula makes for Jesus and the Church, to “christianise this dechristianised population” February 2nd 1999
On this anniversary may each of us reflect on what this work has meant in our lives. What a Divine gift of Love it truly is. How much have we grown in our appreciation of the Eucharist since we read the messages? How has our attitude to God the Father benefited ? How has our prayer life benefited ? How has our devotional life been deepened ? Have the messages brought us closer to God the Father, Jesus , the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary? This anniversary is a good time to reflect on what we have received and how we can give back to God our free will and love in return.
What indeed do we owe to these messages in gratitude? Let us take some stock on the impact True Life in God has had on us, on our spiritual life and offer prayers of thanks to Jesus for giving us His manna from heaven. May we also pray this year with renewed dedication for unity in the Church, one date to celebrate Easter, for Vassula and her family and for the entire network of volunteers: working in Beth Myriams, on the websites,organizing pilgrimages and retreats, the TLIG radio team, the onedate team, the translators of the messages, the clergy who support and defend the messages, the book packers and shippers , book publishers, phone answerer’s, country coordinators, regional coordinators and finally the True Life in God Foundation (all volunteers) and all their projects and work in spreading, defending and protecting the messages for “Generations to Come”.

Vassula writes:
Jesus asks all of us who lived a True Life in God: ” Are you happy to have been with Me in this way all these years?” He continues: “you have become part of Me and I part of you and you have made your home in Me, as I have made My Home in you…” Further down in this message, Jesus says: “My path is straight; My ways of approaching you are delightful… Your King is perfect and beautiful.”
These words of Christ are to be lived; even more by those who have been called to be apostles of True Life in God. When He says My path is straight, our Lord expects us as well to straighten our paths and be an example to others since we are and have become part of Him. Therefore, no vice should remain within us. Where there is virtue, there is Light; where there is love, there is God. So I make an appeal to all those who have been called into True Life in God to make a special act of reconciliation.
