Testimony from Ana
Subscribers to this list will be familiar, now, with the trials of Ana of Uruguay with her bishop. Here is a letter from a happier Ana!
Dear TLIG brothers and sisters,
I’m writing to thank you all for your support, letters giving advice and encouragement and above all for your prayers. You made me feel that we truly belong to each other in this wonderful TLIG family!
I remember that when I first attended a TLIG meeting in Rhodes in 1997, Vassula said that when she had realized how much she was suffering she started jumping up and down rejoicing and praising God. In those days as a beginner in spiritual things, I was absolutely unable to understand and I thought: “what is she saying? rejoicing because of her suffering?” (sorry, Vassula) and now I’ve understood…
Our Lord has honored me allowing me to share only a little of his suffering, his passion, the treason, being abandoned by all my friends, not you!, but here everybody run away. Before leaving for the Hearing on October 5, at 3:00 p.m… (have you noticed the significance of the date and time?) still at home I knelt down and prayed the Rosary of the Divine Mercy, but I finished lying on the floor, such was the anguish and suffering and burden on my back!!! Thank you Lord because I love You more now!!!
On coming back home the only thing I could do was get into bed with the Rosary in my hand and pray nonstop until midnight “Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me and them”. Glory be to God for giving one more painful purification!!!
Time went by, the wounds in my heart healed and last week, on November 1st and 2nd, I travelled to the North of Argentina to hold my two first witnessings meetings, thus fullfilling Our Lord’s wish and Vassula’s request to start evangelizing this autumn (spring in the south). All my uncertainties and nerves for not being up to the task (though I’ve been studying the messages very hard lately!!!) disappeared when, before the meeting in my hotel room, I knelt down and prayed to the Holy Spirit for His assistance and Jesus to take my mouth and use it and Our Lady and the Angels to be beside me, and so They did !!!!
Probably my witnessing has to improve (I’m only learning) but I’m certain now that when we go out on an evangelizing mission the Most Holy Trinity will provide us with extra strength and courage and whatever else is needed.
I would like to thank Pablo and María Susana Cuomo, Teresita Ledesma and the local organizers in Posadas, Argentina for being the first to give me the opportunity to witness for the Lord. However, I pray our TLIG organizers around the world and in South America work harder and organize many witnessing meetings not only for Vassula but also for the witnesses that she has selected. Organizers you are more important than us, because without you we can’t do anything!!! And surely Jesus is not very happy, since Vassula has been scolding and pushing us and is tired of spoonfeeding us!!!
Let’s all try harder to please Jesus and let’s all evangelize more, since the time is running short!!!
United in the Two Hearts,
Ana
NB: As Ewa Allan has made me notice, October is Sr Faustina’s feast and
the Notification is dated Nov. 5, 1995 and 3:00 pm the Mercy’s time.
