A final call to evangelize

Monday, March 26, 2001 10:37 PM

A message from Vassula is being copied here that was sent to those who had specifically responded to her appeal for TLIG witnesses and organisers.

It is being sent now to the full mailing list with a final appeal for volunteers for witnesses and for organisers of meetings.

Vassula has added:

“Can you please inform everyone that we will close the “call to evangelise” by April 01 2001. Anyone who wants to respond to the call to evangelise, needs to contact you before then and any after that date will not be considered. Can you please make it known that there seems to be more witnesses than organisers again, now that people realise what is involved.”

Vassula’s earlier message is copied here:

To all those that this may concern:

I hope you were aware that when you had put your name volunteering to be an organizer this would entail certain things. Had you invited me, you would have had to be in charge of my transport, flights, accommodation and meals as well as advertising and all the other things incurred. Had you not been aware of this and feel that you can no longer commit to this understanding TLIG Rome needs to know those of whom cannot honour this obligation ASAP.

As for those that want to witness, I hope that they had understood that their witnessing would be focussed on the Message itself, just like I do. Personal conversion stories are not what is required. It is literally to be the echo of the echo. When Jesus used to send His disciples to spread the Kingdom of God in different places, the disciples quoted what they had learnt from Jesus’ teachings and not about how they used to be fishermen or tax collectors. St. Paul when he used to send Timothy or any other of the apostles, he used to send them to go and teach the people, about the Word of God and talk about a Resurrected Christ. In the messages of TLIG it is said that our Blessed Mother and Jesus are forming apostles of the end of times. To be an apostle is to spread the Kingdom of God to others and to teach them of the Truth and of the Power of God.

God has taught us all of this in His messages and so what we have to do is just to take His Words and pass on the Knowledge to other. If you have read and digested the messages as thoroughly as is required, then you must probably know passages by heart to quote them and most importantly to be able to give the essence in a resumé.

This is why I come back to you, because what I have read so far in your letters are testimonies of conversion.

So my questions to you are:

Can you tell me the essence of the message?
What are the various subjects Jesus talks about?
What have you understood of the message?
Would you feel confident to answer questions related to the messages? Would you be able to speak for over an hour on the messages? What would you do or say if there was a question asked to you and you would not know the answer?

Please forward your response ASAP to David Armitage.

God bless you,

Vassula
