For those who wonder whether the Chinese translation is suitable for Mandarin or Cantonese speaking friends, or friends speaking other Chinese dialects, the following explanation may be helpful:

There is only one universal written Chinese language. A Chinese book is always written in Chinese, not in Mandarin, Cantonese or any other Chinese dialect. This is because Chinese dialects are only spoken, not written. While one may SPEAK Mandarin or Cantonese, one does not WRITE Mandarin or Cantonese. One always writes CHINESE. Therefore, regardless of what dialect a Chinese person may speak, he or she can read any book written in Chinese.
