2001 – period of evangelizing:
Dear TLIG family,
Here we have entered the new millenium. I hope that this millenium will bring forth lots of triumphs for our Lord. When the Lord warns us in messages of a chastisement, it is always conditional. When He speaks of triumphs, this too depends on our prayers, our faithfulness and our willingness.
Last year during my speech in the Holy land, we were all reminded that we were to serve our God where darkness prevails. Our Lord needs servants who are able to serve Him where love is missing. Therefore, I am asked to remind you that:
You are blessed for having believed in His message.
You are blessed for having accepted and given your fiat to God to help reviving His Church and bring it out of this flagrant apostasy, by doing what you can in accordance to the capacity God has given you.
You are blessed for going out of your way to serve others.
You are blessed for multiplying the talent our Lord has given you with trust.
You are blessed when, guided by the Holy Spirit, you are able to bring one soul back to God. This is the supreme service you can render to God, for God prizes one soul more than anything else.
You are blessed if you have accepted to become peace-makers for unity and sow seeds which will bear fruit in purity.
You are blessed if you have given away your motives and interests for Christ’s motives and interests.
And you are blessed if you have sought what is least sought in this world and carry it with love, and that is the Cross.
Jesus says that if you say you have faith without evangelizing, it is in vain. To evangelize is also an act of charity because you do it for the salvation of souls. To evangelize is to serve God and neighbour. To serve is considered also an act of charity, because you would be giving yourself to others, you would be sacrificing yourself for others.
In this new millenium, which can be called “end of times” as well, Jesus and our Blessed Mother gave us a message to understand that They would raise apostles, and they would be called “apostles of the end of times” to go out and evangelize a dechristianized society. If you were raised by the messages of TLIG that led you to read and understand the Scriptures, and return to the Sacraments of the Church, that already is a formation, and you become a witness. But, what is striking is the 2nd Pentecost that has already started, as the Holy Spirit made me understand. The 2nd Pentecost is individual, and once a person received this Fire, he, or she has become a witness. You have been given talents, and you will have to multiply them.
I have been given lots of talents, with all that the Lord has given me and is giving me, I have to work. They were given to me not so that I just sit on them, but that I multiply them. Always with a slight fear that perhpas I am not doing enough, I go on, but with joy.
This year, for several days now, I have been approached by the Holy Spirit to let me know that I should ask from my brothers and sisters of TLIG the following:
I would like to know who of you is willing to organize a meeting as though it were done for me?
I would like to know those of you, who were touched by Jesus’ message and changed your heart, who are ready to witness?
I would like to have 2 lists: those who are willing to go out and travel to witness, and those who are willing to invite the witness and put up a meeting as though it were for me but with one of the witnesses that I would select instead.
Once I get those two lists, I will pray to see who could be sent and where will he or she be sent. The witness will talk of her previous life of sin, then will testify on the grace of God and how He brought him or her “back home”. This will be like a 3/4 hr testimony. The other half hour will be given on the TLIG message. The essence of the message. If, it happens that I do not choose a person yet, please do not get offended. It might be for later times.
The ones who will be testifying, should know thoroughly the messages and know what the Call is about and being able to convey with an ecumenical perspective. TLIG has many associations around the world and I truly trust that several will be willing to invite a person of TLIG who could testify.
- One last thing
- I would like to remind the ones who have an association of TLIG or who are the responsible of TLIG that I had asked them last year to bring forth to me an annual report of their activities. I do not want very lengthy information, just a short briefing. With this report, I could perhaps advise and counsel if need. So far I have received two reports from all associations. I would be grateful to all of you who have not yet sent their report to avoid me from coming back to remind you, it takes so much time from me!
