TLIG in Brazil

Here is another report of TLIG activity in 1999, this time from Brazil. José Beneval Rosa reports:
Requested by Vassula, for the greater glory of God, I will share the work that is being done in Brazil for True Life in God.
Our work has been extraordinarily meaningful, we have been feeling the surprising presence of the Holy Spirit, acting on the groups who are spreading around Brazil.
We face problems peacefully, with prayer and a lot of perseverance. We spread the books of True Life in God as much as we can. We have representatives spread all over Brazil who help us to spread them.
The people read the books and are transformed, they are touched and want to live immersed in this spirituality.
I take two or three trips a month with the goal of spreading the messages giving lectures and encouraging the people to form new groups in order to live the Trinitarian Spirituality of True Life in God, so well explained by Vassula.
We try to encourage the members of the groups to evangelize, always inviting new partners to the groups, looking for those who are far from the Church, the ones who aren’t in groups, because they are thirsty of God.
It’s wonderful, there the miracle of convertion happens and the groups go on multiplying by the hundreds, together they become strong in the faith.
We don’t forget the emphasis which Vassula gives to following her example. Each one of us is responsible for this marvellous apostolate, we have to become very humble, with faith, much love and perseverance, not sparing ourselves but working and giving our time to God, only in this way may we see the result of this work.
We have also written a little booklet of information, having only four pages, which we named ‘Vassula Ryden and the Position of the Church’. In this booklet, which is being distributed in large numbers, totally free, all over Brazil we show the real situation of True Life in God, before the eyes of the Church. In this book there are testimonies of theologians, priests, bishops, and Cardinal Ratzinger’s recent interview, etc…
This work is and has been producing a very good positive effect, because it shows that we are walking in harmony with the Church, with Pope John Paul II’s thoughts.
God is love and has been making us strong, it’s true that we have been having difficulties too, but God’s graces have always protected us and they are so plentiful that we notice them and we always end up strengthened after a time of testing, and the problems are totally forgotten. We go on more powerfully, because we feel that Jesus walks by our side, and the miracle of multiplication continues to occur.
Jesus wants to talk today through us, we can’t keep quiet, we know that only He is the solution to our problems. Together we will achieve what Jesus wishes so much, unity and then He will be able to supply us with what we wish so much, PEACE.
