Testimony 19

This testimony is taken from a letter sent to Vassula and written on February 14, 1994

In union to Mary and Jesus Christ, I send you peace and my love and do thank my Eternal One that He has wished that I write to you my experience of February 12, 1994 in your visit to Manati, Puerto Rico. I prostrated myself to the Blessed Trinity and pray that my testimony be inspired by the Holy Spirit in Truth and Love through the maternal and loving intercession of my dear Blessed Mother Mary and my Guardian Angel.

The graces which Jesus bestowed upon me occurred during your prayer of the Rosary began during the first mystery when I started feeling inner currents of electricity over my body. At the end of the mystery I began to see a constant and pulsing aureola of white light around your head, Vassula. Then, to my amazement and joy began to see that your whole face and figure was becoming that of Jesus.

At first it was a glimpse that would come and go on two or three occasions, but later it became more constant. These transformations involved me in an ecstatic state, during which I could only pray mentally the Rosary for I was so overcome in a divine presence in my whole being. The light was now of a golden color. The face of Jesus was similar of that one of Jackie Hass’s “Jesus Our Saviour”, but also of a slight resemblance of that of Turin. His aspect was one of hardship and seemed to me how He would have looked while He proclaimed in His journeys in Jerusalem. Then, the light became a grayish blue around your figure with a certain quiteness.

Upon the third or fourth mystery, the experience became more powerful in that the vision of my Lord was constant for about a whole mystery. I should mention my friend Priscilla Martinez who was seated next to me because we had simultaneous experiences on two occassions. She was moved to kneel; I followed. My tears would flow profusely upon this loving presence for it was so intense and of total transformation.

Vassula, while you spoke and quoted Jesus’ exact words, which you read in Spanish I also experienced more glow around you. These were words full of authority and loving wisdom.

We have been so blessed by Our Lord Jesus and Our Mother Mary with your visit to Puerto Rico.
