Testimony of an Orthodox Priest.
I recommend with all my heart the reading and meditation of the work “True Life in God” and I witness, with my soul and conscience, the reality of the Divine origin of the revelations received by the prophet Vassula, chosen by God, as well as of the spiritually active power of such revelations over the soul.
The reading of this work is for me, a priest ordained long ago with the Church, a prodigious rediscovery of the Gospel and a deepening of my faith.
The Messages are direct and simple; they speak of the Heart of God touching the heart of man. They are written in a language accessible for everybody, contrary to the complicated theological constructions of the scholars, since God Himself is simplicity. In them, I have examined closely the content and have verified that it is exactly in accordance with the teaching of the one, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, perfectly respecting the Orthodoxy of the faith.
We find in them the eloquence of the prophets of the Old Testament, the serene joy of the Evangelists, the dazzling force of the Apocalypse, the wisdom of the judgments of the fathers in the desert, all within the biblical style that has the beauty of the Psalms, the profound precision of the Proverbs, or the spontaneity of the Song of Songs, which will never cease to AMaze me.
The Message is written for our times and I invite every person reading these lines to consider the urgency of such a grace, and to examine, attentively, the extraordinary gift that he may receive, a unique occasion to free his soul from the lethargy of this materialistic world. I also strongly advise all priests and bishops to inspire themselves, abundantly, from the Messages for their pastoral work, and they will see prodigies occur, where nothing indicated that something like this could happen, as I have seen it myself.
Christ’s Word expresses itself with a force of invincible Love, capable of reviving the death of this world in the three areas of Faith, Hope and Charity. He speaks moving Words, which convert the heart, fortify the soul and encourage man to become an example of “authentic Love”.
I thank God for overwhelming, with such generosity, His weak creatures.
I thank Vassula Rydén for her disposition to be nothing, so that Our Lord Jesus Christ may be everything through her.
I pray that there will still be numerous fruits to adorn the golden basket of miracles of “True Life in God”, particularly that which promises unity of the Church, the crown of our aspirations of children of the same Father.
Jesus, Our only Hope: Praised be Your Sacred Heart! Saint Mary, Our Mother: Praised be Your Immaculate Heart! Eternal Glory to God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit! Amen
