I love Him to folly!

This testimony from New York was written in 1999.

I have been reading the messages from True Life in God for seven years now. I bought the very first volume at a conference I attended at St. John’s University in Queens. I felt drawn to it immediately and I believed in the messages from the very beginning. I had such a strong urge to return to God and these messages helped me to love Him in a more profound way. I was overwhelmed by the love He has for us. I cried many tears throughout all the volumes knowing that He is the most merciful, tender, gentle, loving, compassionate God and that he speaks to each of us individually.

My love for Jesus has grown so much that I am in total ecstasy in front of the Blessed Sacrament as He has given me the gift of contemplation! Jesus also reveals His face to me whenever I am in front of a Tabernacle or adoring Him in the Monstrance. I am truly not worthy of this. I can relate to Vassula as she refers to herself as the most wretched of all His creatures as I myself am the worst… but look how He loves us anyway!

I have retained many of the prayers which are stated throughout the volumes, for example, the prayers at the beginning of each volume for the conversion of the whole world; the novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, etc. Also, the prayer after each decade of the Rosary: ‘Jesus my only love, I pray for those whom you love but know not how to love you; may they be purified and healed so that they too be exempt from all evil Amen.’ And of course the Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The last conference I attended was in Queens in January, 1998. Vassula had prayed the our Father in Aramaic and the first part of the Hail Mary. When I first heard her praying in Aramaic, I wanted to fall down on my knees because of the holiness of this language. I was determined to learn it, so I ordered the tape and played it over and over again

until the sounds became familiar to me. One can learn by writing down
the sounds and watching the movement of Vassula’s lips. Now I am able
to recite it by heart… Praise God…
much I wanted to learn these prayers.
He is so good. He knew how

I learned so much from reading these messages because Jesus says Himself that He is our greatest teacher and He instructs us with His wisdom. Also, I realized the importance of praying for Church Unity. Jesus wants all Christians to be united, and the key to unity is Love and Humility. He wants all of us to return to Him and be reconciled. Jesus warns us about the purification, but at the same time assures us of His love for us in a very gentle and loving manner. I LOVE HIM TO FOLLY!

I continue to read the volumes again and again because they are truly love hymns from Heaven. I love listening to Vassula’s voice in person and on tape. One cannot help but be attracted to her sincerity and humility. Thank you Jesus and thank you Vassula Ryden! I always think of you on your birthday, January I8th, Feast of Christian Unity.
