An update

Here is an update on the “weeping” statue of the Immaculate Conception which was spoken about in a forum mailing from February 26th of this year (it can be read at: /forum/forum320.html ) The mailing refers to events in Australia at the time of Vassula’s visit there earlier this year.

This letter comes from Avo Vardanian in Australia:

“Our Blessed Mother has stopped weeping via her statue of the Immaculate Conception that stands on our small altar in the family room – annex kitchen, but what has remained even until today, since she started weeping on 24 February 2001, is a strong sweet smelling fragrance of roses that continues to be radiated from the base of the statue and her left foot. The remaining parts of the statue do not radiate any fragrance, just the base and her left foot.

But this is not the end of the story. What has been happening for quite some time now is that rosaries that are placed on the altar start giving off the same sweet fragrance of roses. The rosaries do not smell all the time, but on and off, very frequently, as if God is saying to those of us who still have doubts: “see… it is My Mother Who is giving you Her Beautiful Incense through the rosaries, and not someone from you who is rubbing the rosaries in with some kind of Ester Lauder”.

I feel that God is giving us a small hint or guidance on the authenticity of His Presence. So what we do now is to place small (embroidered) handkerchiefs under the base of the statue that take over the strong smell of roses. Amen.”

The above letter is taken from the latest edition of the True Life in God magazine published in the UK by Ewa Allan. The magazine is published fairly lavishly in full colour and subscriptions can be placed at the web site at: /ewa.html or by contacting: [email protected]
