Testimonies 1

My attempt to encourage list members to write some personal testimonies has not proved very successful!

However, thinking about this matter has encouraged me to begin forwarding testimonies which have been received by Vassula over the past few years. Many of these concern the phenomena whereby individuals see the face of Jesus in place of Vassula’s own face during her talks or at other times. The phenomena is mentioned in the messages several times (see September 30 1993). One such testimony, a very brief yet powerful one, is copied below.

I think many testimonies probably never reach Vassula. While I was at the TLIG retreat in the Holy Land earlier this year I was speaking to a lady from Peru about these experiences and I noticed her smiling gently. She then began to describe her own experience of seeing Jesus’ face appearing in this way on Vassula. She said simply she had never mentioned this to anyone else before – she didn’t know why. She just treated it as a very private and personal experience. David Armitage

I, Erin von Uffel, hereby declare that I saw, on the 9th day of October, the face of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
The face of Jesus was one with Vassula Ryden as she spoke during the Marian Conference. I saw the face of Jesus throughout her talk.

I did not expect it, I did not look for it, I did not ask for it. I completely surrender it for God’s Glory.
