Mary

The title of this mailing is the title given to a small booklet which contains just three of Vassula’s messages. The first is a song of love to God, dictated by Jesus on November 11, 1993 – ‘Emmanuel’s Song’. The other two are beautiful messages about Mary, dictated by Jesus; ‘The Woman Adorned with the Sun’ (March 25, 1996) and ‘Run to your Blessed Mother’ (April 3, 1996).

The booklet has been produced in the Netherlands by Anthippie Dimozantos and can be obtained from her at a very low cost. I am writing this note, not to try to ‘sell’ Anthippie’s booklet but because I feel very strongly that the booklet is a wonderful way to evangelize, for those of us who may feel unable to do so by word of mouth.

I have been involved in the past year or so with some attempts to promote Vassula’s mission, and they inevitably involved trying, in one way or another, to ‘sell’ Vassula and her mission. Literature for this purpose inevitably turns into ‘advertising’ leaflets which probably end up where most advertising literature ends up – in the waste paper basket.

When I first received a copy of Anthippie’s booklet with accompanying prices, I’m ashamed to say that I wrote back to her asking why she had sent it to me, after all I didn’t sell books! Also, I ‘knew’ the three messages in the booklet so, while recognising how well produced the booklet was, I put it to one side.

But then over the next few days I found myself frequently picking up the booklet, partly to admire the beautifully printed painting on the cover, but also to have a quick ‘read’ of God’s wonderful words of love. Then I realised that other people might do the same if they were given a copy of the booklet.

The booklet contains no information about Vassula or her mission. It contains only God’s Words, although Vassula’s name is mentioned within the messages and so anyone who is moved by them will be able to enquire further about their origin. The booklet is so ‘nice’ that I think it unlikely that anyone who is given a copy will find themselves able to throw it away. So, even where it remains unread, it
will remain ‘available’ to be picked up and read later.

The price of the booklet is so low that it is a very practical proposition for supporters of Vassula to give copies of it to their friends, relations etc and then to people they don’t know at all. By simply giving the booklet to a person as a gift, it is possible to evangelize without having to ‘sell’ Vassula or her mission. One is giving God’s words to people in a very natural and unforced way and who knows where this might lead if the gift is accompanied by prayer to the Holy Spirit.

The booklet has 31 pages with a card cover. The size is 6 by 4.5 inches (15.5 by 11cms) You can see a reproduction of the front cover at: /booklet.html

I must quickly point out that Anthippie has not asked me to write any of

the above! It is my own personal response to the booklet which she sent
me. She has, however, provided me with price details and cost of
delivery. There is one price for the booklet, regardless of the number
ordered. It is Dfl. 1.00 or US$ 0.50 each. Not much more than the
cost of a postage stamp in England!

One box of 210 booklets costs Dfl. 71 to deliver by air to America.
One box of 210 booklets costs Dfl. 90 to deliver by air to Australia or
the Philippines.

One box of 210 booklets costs Dfl. 41 to deliver by air within Europe.

The delivery costs for two boxes are:

Dfl. 118 to deliver by air to America.
Dfl. 140 to deliver by air to Australia or the Philippines.
Dfl. 47 to deliver by air within Europe

Delivery times are estimated at 2 to 3 weeks in Europe and may be 3, 4, or 5 weeks to other continents.
