Dear brothers and sisters of True Life in God,
Let us be united in this period of Lent and generous to all the needy in our Beth Myriams.
This is to remind us all and our prayer groups that constant financial help is needed to run the Beth Myriams. If funds run short we will be unable to keep going on our Holy Mother’s project.
To be charitable is so important; it is the opposite of selfishness. Jesus tells us in the messages and in the Scriptures that “one should enjoy more in giving than receiving…”
This practice of charity after the Lord’s passage in us (our conversion) when our hearts became tender as in our birth, replaces the time in the past when one’s heart was covered with a hard crust.
“Do not let your hearts get hardened” is always a warning. Constancy and awareness of our needs will ensure that the Beth Myriam project continues to flourish. Giving once is good, but it is not enough especially during the present strong crisis when the number of the poor is constantly increasing. Your gift is important to them as well as to yourself.
