Advent Novena Beginning November 30-Feast of St. Andrew

Vassula found this prayer on November 30, when it
dropped out of her carry-on bag as she was about to start packing for a trip to the U.S. It is to be prayed from the Feast of St. Andrew until Christmas. She was stunned to see that it came to her attention in this way on precisely St. Andrew’s Feast Day.

She said, “Now don’t tell me this was not given in my hand, with all these papers and prayers that were falling out of my bag, the only paper I picked up-the others I just dropped down in a heap and put them down on my desk and this one I picked up.
Don’t tell me that this is not from Heaven. This is the 30th of November! I couldn’t believe my eyes. I am telling you this so that you do it too. It says you will obtain the favor if you do it from today.”

Prayer to Obtain Favors

Hail and Blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born of the Most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in piercing cold. In that hour, vouchsafe, Oh my God, to hear my prayers and grant my desires through the merits of our Saviour, Jesus Christ and of His Blessed Mother. Amen.

It is piously believed that whoever recites the above prayer 15 times a day from the Feast of St. Andrew, November 30 until Christmas will obtain what is asked.
