The TLIG youth camp and the World Youth Day were like a plunge into an ocean of love. All our thanksgiving and honor was addressed to the Lord Jesus and Our Lady, who, like a warm and soft rain in spring, constantly poured out on us Love, Peace, Joy and graces upon graces! Yes, it was a taste of Heaven!
We had youth from Japan, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Poland, UK, Scotland, Brazil, and Lebanon. There were in our Youth Camp a total of thirty persons, and even though so many of us did not know each other at first, we all felt very deeply like a family of Love! I never had an experience like this before! It was even more than the loving fellowship we have had in our TLIG pilgrimages!

I know that in the future, Our Lord is going to provide special events for the youth and that they are very precious to Him!
Here is an example in the testimony of Jana from the Czech Republic:
I looked forward to our TLIG youth camp very much. Then when we arrived, I was a little blank at first because it was something entirely new both inside me and around me which I did not understand.
Then when we prayed together on our first morning, I felt something changed inside me. Next, when we went outside, we sat on the banks in the front of the house and we spoke to one another. I felt nothing special exactly, but I looked at what was happening and in that moment I began crying. Another youth, Fabian, who was sitting near me, asked me: “What happened?” and I said: “I am happy!” and I really was, because I felt that I was at home and I said to myself: “This is my family!” and all through the next wonderful days I stayed in this peace and love. I was totally happy, which meant that there was nothing missing from the fullness I felt.
My heart was healing and I was learning a lot: I was learning how to pray. I was learning how to love, and to communicate with my brothers and sisters. I was learning how to organize something for God, and how not to be afraid. I was learning a lot about God and about true life in Him…
Then, when we came back home, I saw that our meeting had been like a furnace and that it was a big blessing to be there. I felt myself stronger and more able to do something for God than before our meeting in Cologne. Some door inside me, which had been closed for a long time, had been opened, and I was feeling in myself more freedom. Yes, our meeting was very, very liberating!!!
Now we are preparing a TLIG weekend in Prague, which had never seemed possible for me before, but now we TLIG youth together have so much more strength that our efforts just seem to flow by themselves. For this I am very grateful, because I was always longing for this! Now I am more able to serve Jesus with others!
