It is now possible to make an automatic monthly donation in any amount to Beth Myriam. This is very convenient for everybody who wants to support Beth Myriam, but forgets to donate regularly. Even if the donation is just 5 or 10 dollars, Euros or British Pounds a month, it is a big help.
We have explained before how Beth Myriam is a charity you can trust, where all of your donation goes to directly help the poor. There is no paid office staff. The people who run and organize every aspect of Beth Myriam are volunteers. There is no administrative paid office space, and in fact the only money lost is a tiny percentage that is used for banking fees. The goal of the volunteer team who give of their time, is to get as close to 100% as possible of all the money going directly to the poor.
Over the years we have read of so many charities that advertise for donations and find out that only a small percentage of the money donated actually goes to meet the need. After they deduct office space, paid employees, advertising costs and so forth, sometimes only a small percentage of donated money actually directly helps the actual need. We have tried to avoid such costly expenditures.
