The Interview

For those who were not able to ‘catch’ Vassula’s radio interview of yesterday evening, a recording can now be heard at:

The interview, lasting around 20 minutes, was conducted by a very unsympathetic interviewer. However, for those who might have been upset by his manner, the following message might be helpful. The message is part of an email received immediately after the interview, addressed to Vassula:

« I’m writing this to you now as I listen to your radio interview over the web on June 5 at 2200 GMT. I wasn’t sure what to expect! my mother has always been very interested in your writings, and right now I’m taping the interview for her because I’m a bit more computer literate than she. I want you to know that I am like many people who may be hearing your words accross the world at this moment, and that you have made quite an impression in me. As I am hearing you speak I notice that there is not a moment of tension in your voice, and I begin to wonder whether this is evidence enough for me to believe you. Every ounce of logic in my mind tells me it’s not, but my « heart » seems to be telling me there’s no reason not to believe you. Be assured, I follow my heart when I have to. I think you have an incredible strength in you. I’m sure you already know, but there are many people out there just like me. They will hear you and when they do they will listen with open minds and hearts. Persevere, Vassula, you’re words are worth more than any of us will ever know. »
