A wee testimony

Following Jesus’ plea for evangelization in a message given to Vassula on March 3rd, a powerful testimony from Carol Chamberlain was forwarded to this list a couple of weeks ago. As a little prelude to a further couple of evangelizing testimonies, here is a ‘wee testimony’ from Leslie Huzyk (as she describes it!):

Early Easter morning Jen Mai Dorris, her friend Marie, and myself attended an ecumenical Sunrise Easter Service at a big theater in northwest Indiana. I’m not sure what we expected, but we were certainly surprised. It began with a Greek Orthodox Priest in full garb processing across the darkened stage with a candle, and singing in Greek.

It continued with beautiful music and community prayers – but BEST OF ALL – a Catholic priest delivered the homily for the first time in the 18 year

history of this event! And he was on fire, and mentioned UNITY many
times. We were overjoyed, to say the least. Afterwards, we passed out
flyers about TLIG (with our phone numbers, too), and people accepted
them happily. I know they thought we were part of the service – and I

guess we were, in a manner of speaking.

I don’t know if there will be any fruit from our little adventure, but hasn’t Jesus assured us that NOTHING IS WASTED? I cling to that in all my small efforts.
