Croatia Retreat
Between 14th and 16th of September, 2012 a True Life in God retreat took place in Croatia. It was held in beautiful countryside, two hours away from the capital city. About 12 people attended the retreat that was led by a priest who reads and believes in the True Life in God messages.
On the first afternoon of the retreat the priest led a meditation on the Stations of the Cross since it was the feast day of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The following day, people attended Mass in the local church and afterwords watched The Prophecy and Warning DVD of TLIG. It was followed by a discussion on True Life in God spirituality. In the afternoon there was adoration of the Holy Eucharist.
On Sunday, after Mass, Marija had the opportunity to introduce the True Life in God messages to the people of the parish. That day there were over a hundred people present in the church. She started by saying how Vassula’s Guardian Angel Daniel had approached her, when she first received the messages. She went on to explain why the messages are urgent for our times. She mentioned a few things about the spirituality of True Life in God such as the importance of repentance, obedience to the Ten Commandments, the Holy Sacraments of the Church and the urgency of unceasing prayer in our lives. Lastly, she made reference to how crucial Unity of the Church is for everyone, this Unity which the Lord longs for so much, so that we do not draw His chastisement down upon us due to our division. She stressed that in the True Life in God pilgrimages clergy and lay people from different denominations gather together and live in harmony like the first Christians, without differentiating themselves under God’s Holy name.
Each day during the retreat the people prayed the rosary. Those who attended the retreat claimed that it was truly fruitful and filled them with divine joy and happiness. Dear listeners, thank you for listening to True Life in God news. May God’s Love touch our hearts deeply so we may Love Him truly. Amen.
