The following letter from Vassula should be read in conjunction with her earlier letter sent out on January 15th.
2001 Evangelizing
Dear Tlig family,
I would like to remind you of the Words of our Father in His message of
25.2.98 when He said the following to us: “I will adorn this earth in
Spring, My Spring. What is the Spring of Yahweh? My Spring will be
when the whole of My creation will be shining with a brilliant light.
In the baptism of the purification you will be reformed into your first image. In this purification everyone will aspire for a closer union of love with Me, and in your ardour your hearts will search for the Truth, the Way and the Life…” A bit further, our Lord continues to say: “Love is on the way of return to restore His Kingdom. This will be the reign of My Kingdom on earth and My Will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. So now is the time of repentance. This is a wicked age but your lives should redeem it. Renounce your will and find favour with Me by recognizing what is My Will…”
When God speaks, He speaks with clarity as a father speaking to his children. What God was telling us here was that in the near future a time of Spring will come upon us but not without a purification first. No one can perfect himself without going first through a divine fire. God will use any means to purify a soul. At the same time, God means that He will reinforce His Call and will multiply His graces upon us giving us all the opportunities we can get so that we change our heart. We should, therefore, be always alert and not misunderstand and think that evil is totally wiped out. The world is still offending God more than ever and there is very little response to all His Calls due to the so flagrant indifference of mankind. In a message our Blessed Mother gave us a few years ago She said that the world has grown cold, icy cold towards the love of God and that was the reason we were inflicting upon us all sorts of evils, like earthquakes, catastrophes, diseases, famine etc. especially because people are indifferent to God’s Calls.
In the most recent message I received, Christ, who seemed to be very much in pain and grieving said: “Tell everyone, good and bad: I make My Voice be heard from Heaven; I shout aloud so that everyone hears, good or bad, yes, indeed, My Voice has reached the ends of the world. The good alike as the bad need to repent. The good for not doing exactly My Will and for not praying in the right way; many of them approach Me only in words; the bad, for committing mortal sins without ceasing because of their hardness of heart…”. In another message our Lord says: ” This is a wicked age,” and in another message (10.5.95) “Your generation has entered the beginning of sorrows and trials, these terrible times of iniquity.” God calls all His children and He has not stopped revealing His Grace and His Mercy through the ages of time, and He continues to make salvation possible for the whole human race. In His divine messages of True Life in God, which are, I remind you, a re-spelling of His Divine Word, He calls us to give up our will, and find favour with Him by acknowledging His Divine Will. We have to give up everything that does not lead us to God.
In another recent message, our Lord shows us in different ways how people take His Divine Call, this is what He said: You must have heard the parable of the sower, “when anyone hears the word of the kingdom without understanding, the evil one comes and carries off what was sown in his heart. These people stand inert, stupefied, uncomprehending. Then you have those who raised a whole jubilee upon hearing through My messenger the echo of My Voice, welcoming My prophet with great joy, storming the other cities to announce that the word of the kingdom is being addressed to them anew, freely, and with power, but this enthusiasm quickly died out because in their heart, My word had found only patches of rock, and made no roots in them. With the first persecution on account of My word, or even a small trial coming their way, they could not last; no, they are not the ones who, when people will abuse them and speak all kinds of evils and calumny against them on account of My Name would stand firm, since they never had any solid foundation; they will be the first to fall…”
I once prayed to God and asked: “My God, my Lord, make every tongue on earth talk about peace, reconciliation, love, faith and unity. Send Your Holy Spirit in time, show everyone that You are our Help and Consolation, come and revive what little is left otherwise how would the dead hear about Your marvels in the dark? How would they see Your righteousness if their spirit still lies in the land of oblivion?” Why was I inspired to say “in time”? Because God made me understand that we are now living in prodigious times, we are living in a time of Mercy; these times will not last for ever; it will be too late when these times of Divine Light shed on us will be over. Already now, when Divine Light is inundating us, still many cannot tell their right hand from their left hand, as God says, so how much worse will it be then for them when these times of Mercy are over?
The kindness, mercy and love of God has been revealed to us all these years, through the power of the Holy Spirit by so generously manifesting Himself as in old times to speak to us face to face. He calls us all, without restraint, to observe His Law, His Commandments and to draw us all into His Heart. He continues to renew us with the Holy Spirit which He pours over us like never before in history so as to turn our lives into an unceasing prayer. We have to rejoice for such grace!
The Spring of Yahweh is the grace given to us to live a life of divine Love. Divine Love will lead us to understand God and thus do His Will, as He said in the above extract of His message: “This will be the reign of My Kingdom on earth and My Will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Grace exists and it is given to us freely without any merit from us. With this grace that God is offering us, our soul is lifted in the heights and to the mission He is laying out for us. Remember that to gain one soul for God is the greatest service one can render Him and many of our sins are forgiven for this service. It is the greatest gift you can offer to God.
An apostolate mission is required from each one of us. Every Christian, as member of the Church can prove his love to God and to neighbour by multiplying the talents God confided us with. Therefore, let us give our testimony with the manner God gives us, because to love, we have to serve and by serving, we could reach the perfect love. Then, a Spring will bloom within us, the Spring of Yahweh, shedding in us His rays of love. Our eyes then will see the way God sees, our ears will hear everything the way God hears things and our words and sayings will be evangelical and pure as those of God and our acts will be according to His Divine Will.
In this beginning of the new millennium we are called to evangelise and become witnesses of the greatness of God’s Love. My call to you to evangelise does not come from me, but from our Father in Heaven. To become a witness and evangelise is also an act of love because it requires sacrifice from you as much as when you pray for others, to pray for others it is the same as to shed your blood for them. They are all acts of charity. You will be evangelising in different ways your faith in God.
Last but not least, good acts and respect for the needy and the poor is
also to prove your faith. Scriptures say: “Take the case, my brothers,
of someone who has never done a single god act but claims that he has
faith. Will that faith save him? If one of the brothers or one of
the sisters is in need of clothes and has not enough food to live on,
and one of you says to them, “I wish you well; keep yourself warm and eat plenty,” without giving them these bare necessities of life, then what good is that? Faith is like that: if good works do not go with it, it is quite dead…. faith without good deeds is useless.” (Jm 2: 14-20)
This is why our Blessed Mother asked us through a vision and a locution given to me to raise the Beth Myriams. Today many of us are fulfilling our Blessed Mother’s wishes. May this act of love please our Blessed Mother and the Holy Trinity, may they be a means of a spiritual revolution of love. The Word of Life was given to us once more freely to adopt us and deify us. Let us be one spirit with the Divine to go out to the nations and instruct them with kindness, drawing them to the Triune God and into a filial love, expanding their heart to receive more of the Divine Light of the Holy Spirit so that they overpower Satan’s temptations.
I will end my letter by saying what the Lord said to us once: “Sin no
more, cease in doing evil. Learn to do good. Search for justice and
help the oppressed. Let this wilderness and this aridity exult. Let
your tepidity inflame into an ardent flame. Relinquish your apathy and
replace it by fervour. Do all these things so that you may be able to
say, “I have sought my Redeemer and I have found Him. He was near me
all the time, but in my darkness I failed to see Him. O Glory be to
God! Blessed be our Lord! How could I have been so blind?” I shall
then remind you to keep and treasure My principles, so that you may
live.
Yes indeed, let Yahweh’s Spring begin now within you….
