Vassula Ryden and the True Life in God Associations take pleasure in inviting you to join us on a Pilgrimage to Greece; a country which is considered a crossroad of civilizations which you will experience while visiting the mainland sites and the Greek Islands that we have included in our program.
We will be staying at a 4 star, a beach-side hotel found on the golden, sandy beach of the famous Marathon Bay and near the historic town of Marathon, Attica. Our Pilgrimage will take us on a unique spiritual tour of the most historically significant and sacred Christian sites on the Mainland of Greece, such as Athens, Corinth, Mycenae, Delphi, Naflpio, Epidaurus and famous Monasteries in Meteora and Hosios Loukas Monastery in Viotia. We will also enjoy a one-day Cruise Trip to two beautiful Islands at the crystal blue waters of the Saronic Sea.
This Pilgrimage will be a once in a lifetime experience, as Greece is considered the cradle of Western Civilization, is the birthplace of democracy, Western philosophy and literature, historiography, political science, major scientific and mathematical principles, Western drama and the Olympic games. We will also share, as always, wonderful moments of spiritual talks, fellowship, and love between Christians and representatives of other religions, as one family in Christ. We look forward to welcoming you on the 2019 Pilgrimage, to pray in unity and share memorable events.
Our programme will commence in Athens, with pilgrims arriving on Saturday, October 26th. Pilgrims will depart for their respective countries on Sunday, November 3rd.
Because the hotel has given us a limited number of rooms, priority will be given to those that register early and pay upon registration. We are requested to submit the final list of registrants to the hotel two and a half months prior to the actual pilgrimage start-date.
God bless,
The Pilgrimage Team
