Hello!

My name is Rebecca Taylor. I am currently incarcerated in Cheboygan County Jail in Cheboygan, MI. I was sent a “Prayer Card For Prisoners” by one of my dearest friends who is also incarcerated. In a prison in Marquette, MI – (Michael).

When I received the prayer – I was thoroughly moved by the Poem/Letter from Jesus. I showed my cellmates (cell 7), and they also received Hope from the Message they read. I don’t believe we were sent this poem by chance. We were all at a point where we began to feel hopeless. A point where we really needed to be uplifted by God’s Promises and Words. Reading that Poem not only brought us hope – it brought us together – as well as restored our faith in Jesus Christ. It’s easy to get lost in despair when trapped in 1 room all but 3 hours a week… Easy to lose hope…to fall into the trap of self-pity.

So, receiving that Poem – for us girls – at the time we did – really gave us all that bit of hope we so truly needed.

So, we Thank You! So very much! From the Bottom of our hearts…

God Bless you all! Your Message touches more people than you could ever know!

We are all sending prayer requests. I hope that’s OK – I Know and Believe in the Power of Prayer. There is nothing more Powerful!!!

Thank You a head of time for praying for all of us!

Rebecca Taylor”

Here is her latest letter:

Thank You and God Bless for writing me back! I’m always excited to get letters and encouragement from you and the church. And Yes, of course you can use (show) my letters in the church newsletter! I would be Honored! Truly… The only thing I ask is that you send me a copy – would that be possible??? It would be exciting to see. I will be getting out of jail here on June 22, 2025 (possibly before). I get sentenced here on May 13th. Soo… Could you send it to my home address?

Thank You sooo much for keeping me and the girls in your prayers. We appreciate it more than you know – and we could surely use them.

Could you continue to pray for us girls in cell 7? That we continue to grow close to God, growing our faith in Jesus and ourselves. That we stay protected under the Lord’s Shadow always – our children as well.

That God heals us of our afflictions, hurts & traumas. That the Lord keeps us on a better path – building lives we couldn’t dream of without God’s guidance and help. Pray that God is present in all our relationships – working wonders & miracles – especially the relationships we have caused stress on. Pray that the Lord’s wants become our wants. That we become one… That the Holy Spirit guides us and opens our eyes and ears to perceive the Truth. That the old us dies and the new be created with Jesus. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

I hope you guys had a wonderful Easter!!! It’s finally warming up again. Sooo ready for summer to be here again.

Again, Thank You for all you do, and for all you have done. It means so much to us.

You have touched our hearts in many ways.

With Love,

Rebecca,

(All of cell 7)
