OFFICIAL REPORT ON THE TESTIMONY OF CHADI CHOUFANI-TLIG BENIN

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, Chadi Choufani gave his testimony in Abomey, as part of the dissemination of the messages of True Life in God (TLIG).

For the first time, the mission to impart the True Life in God Messages left Cotonou to meet the faithful of another city in Benin, with the same objective: to make known the messages received by Vassula Rydén, to call everyone to a life of intimacy with GOD, and to serve the unity of Christians.

This opening towards the interior of the country marks a new stage: TLIG is no longer only a seed planted in Cotonou; it is beginning to bear fruit in other regions of Benin.

 

A MISSION EXTENDING BEYOND COTONOU

Since Chadi’s first testimony in Cotonou on September 27, 2025, the TLIG Benin group has carried the desire to make the messages known beyond the economic capital.

The choice of Abomey, a city steeped in history, proved particularly fortunate. Leaving Cotonou made it possible to meet new faithful and to bring the messages to places where they are still little known.

This experience confirms that the momentum born in Cotonou can and must continue in other cities of Benin, so that every region may welcome the call of the LORD.

 

 

COURSE OF THE GATHERING

The gathering unfolded in several parts:

  • A time of prayer to open the gathering and entrust it to the LORD.
  • The presentation of Vassula, instrument of GOD, and of her journey.
  • A talk on the TLIG messages: their spread throughout the world and their call to the unity of Christians.
  • A teaching on the transformation of the soul: repentance, confession and unceasing prayer.
  • A time of exchange: answers to questions from the audience on trust in GOD and the spiritual journey.
  • A prayer of deliverance and repentance, to close the gathering.
  • The free distribution of Volume 1 of “True Life in God” to the participants, along with information on the platforms where the messages can be read online.

 

THE TEACHINGS SHARED BY CHADI

  1. VASSULA, ECHO OF GOD’S VOICE

Chadi introduced Vassula Rydén, born in Egypt, a painter and former model, wife and mother of two children. Without any theological training, she received clear locutions and visions from GOD.

The LORD asked her to become “My echo”: to faithfully transmit His messages without adding her personal opinions. Faithful to this call, Vassula has carried these messages to 86 countries.

 

  1. MESSAGES FOR THE WHOLE WORLD AND FOR UNITY

The messages of True Life in God are today translated into 42 languages. Chadi recounted how Vassula visited many Christian communities around the world to promote Christian unity and dialogue between religions.

He mentioned the dialogue undertaken between Vassula and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, then headed by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, the future Pope Benedict XVI.

Chadi recalled that, according to the messages, the Holy Trinity addresses this call to this generation and future generations: everyone is invited to live intimately with GOD and to rediscover the sublime love placed in their heart from the beginning.

 

  1. THE RADICAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE SOUL

To know GOD, the soul must be transformed and purified. Chadi presented the path proposed by the messages:

  • sincere repentance, which opens the heart to mercy;
  • confession, which frees the soul from its burdens;
  • unceasing prayer, which consists in living constantly in the presence of GOD.

 

He drew on the example of Vassula herself, whom CHRIST led step by step along this path of purification.

  1. THE UNITY OF THE CHURCHES: LOVE AND HUMILITY

Chadi stressed CHRIST’s urgent call to unity: division is a sin. The two keys to the visible unity of the Churches are love and humility. True unity is born first of all from the conversion of hearts.

  1. SACRIFICIAL LOVE AND TRUST IN GOD

The presentation emphasized sacrificial love and total trust in GOD, illustrated by concrete examples drawn from Vassula’s life.

  1. QUESTIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE

Participants questioned Chadi about trust in GOD and the spiritual journey. He explained that the purification of the soul is a gradual process, which requires perseverance in prayer and in the life of the sacraments.

 

CONCLUSION

Chadi’s testimony in Abomey was a beautiful moment of grace and a success for the mission. Leaving Cotonou to go to other cities of Benin, with the same objective, proved fruitful: it made it possible to reach new hearts and to sow the TLIG messages in a new region of the country.

The teachings shared reminded everyone of what is essential : a life of prayer, repentance and love, lived in unity with all Christians.

This gathering paves the way for further testimonies in the cities of Benin, so that True Life in God may reach ever more souls.

May the LIGHT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT continue to inspire and guide this work, so that True Life in God may ever more enlighten hearts and nations, for the glory of the MOST HIGH.
