Vassula is invited to speak in San Diego, near the border of Mexico, at the Maronite Catholic Church of Saint Ephraim, after Holy Mass. Fr. Nabil, who hadn’t heard of Vassula or the Messages before, upon hearing Vassula’s witness was overwhelmed and touched.

Vassula was interviewed for the Armenian Russian TV Network. This was done in the church. The journalist asked her about her background and about unity and the most important themes of the TLIG Messages.

Vassula was awarded a certificate in which she was officially recognized by the California State Senate, Senator Ron Calderon Chair of Banking and Insurance for her efforts in the cause of Peace and Interfaith Dialogue.

Some people share their touching experiences of miracles that occurred in the past while they were with Vassula or attending a meeting. «We both saw the Face of Jesus super-imposed on her face.»

• Over the course of several days, Vassula was also interviewed and recorded for the promotion of the new single volume book containing all the True Life in God Messages

The big event in L.A. took place on the 18th January at Barnum Hall in Santa Monica Malibu High School. First Day of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity and consequently, Vassula’s birthday.

A Miracle Happens … the Blessed Virgin Mary Appears in front of Vassula during the meeting! Witnesses testify to the miracle.

Together, we celebrated Vassula’s birthday and the success of the meeting, which was the result of 18 months of hard work by the prayer groups in Los Angeles, working together with one heart.
