Dear friends of TLIG,

As you know we are less than 9 months before our pilgrimage. We are working hard on its preparation and so far we have 360 registrations. According to our contract with the hotel we are guaranteed 700 places with an option to increase to 900+ but we have to indicate to the hotel how many extra places we will want by the end of the year i.e this month.

As Rome is always swarming with pilgrims non stop throughout the year except for August, where most of the shops cafeterias and other important places are closed, we risk this time that the hotel receives a large group for a couple of days during our own week which would mean that we may not even have the extra rooms and would be limited to the 700.

My concern is that we will be limited due to lack of registrations, and we will be unable to provide another hotel for many different reasons. Most of the registrations rush in around 5 months before the actual pilgrimage which of course might happen again this time but this time it will be different because we will be unable to accept the late comers. The hotel needs funds and if we don’t have the money before the end of December to provide them, as I said, we risk of losing the rooms. Please do not drag your feet to register if you intend to be in Rome with us but do it now.

We are anxious to secure the 700 registrations sooner rather than later, so. please be aware that we have to maintain as well a cash flow since there are a series of staged payments. Sorry for pushing, but it is just so that you are aware of the situation.
