Come all who are thirsty …

The TLIG messages tell us, “…tell them that the God they have forgotten has never forgotten them;» (TLIG Messages, May 27, 1993)

From Thursday evening February 28th, until Sunday afternoon, March 3rd, TLIG Scotland invite you to come and share your experience of God with one another in an effort to get to know Him deeper and to share this banquet with those who have not yet tasted Him. It is an invitation to not only receive from God but to evangelize for God: to share with those who don’t yet know Him.

Fathers Jeremy Bath, West Lothian, Scotland and Father John Corbett, New Jersey, USA will take us through a weekend of prayer, group reflection, and invite us to reflect on our walk through the spiritual desert, the spiritual dryness we may sometimes encounter, and our thirst for God until we encounter Him, like the woman at the well, who met the Christ of distressing disguise. Jesus invites us to pray this prayer….

«grant me Your Blessings to recover, heal me with Your Love and Tenderness, hear my sigh, O Lord and replenish my soul leading my soul to the waters of Life;” (TLIG Messages, October 5, 2008)

Many of us who have been blessed through these messages can help reach out to people who do not know God; those who feel marginalized and experience a void. Our relationships with one another prepare us for our relationship with The One who loves us most, God. TLIG Scotland wishes to reach out to those people, especially the youngest people in our local communities and invite them to come along so that we can share our time with one another. This is the perfect lead into Lent.

The gathering will take place at of Father Jeremy’s parish church in Broxburn West Lothian, Scotland, primarily in the function hall adjacent to the church. We will gather here for spiritual exercises, meditations, program reflections, and for the sharing of our meals together.

The beautiful parish church of Ss. John Cantius and Nicholas where we will have daily Mass, adoration, prayers for healing and reconciliation, and share experiences from our various Christian denominations in an effort to know the riches we are given from our Father in Heaven.

Broxburn is approximately 10 miles from Edinburgh airport and has local hotels that can be booked for accommodation. There is local transport that you can use to reach Broxburn. Upcoming further details will be provided. TLIG Scotland contacts will also assist those who may be traveling from abroad.

The cost is being kept to a minimum of £70, so as to simply cover catering throughout the weekend.

For those who will only be attending part of the gathering, individual tickets for each day can be purchased.
