A thank you letter from Vassula

Dear TLIG family,

I just want to give you my warm thanks for all of you who remembered my birthday. I want to thank you for your greetings either done by phone or by email or by cards or by letters and for your prayers, your presents, your Masses and the beautiful flowers sent to me. I always say at each birthday that passes: one less year of waiting to go and be with Christ. Lot’s of work still has to be done here though.

As my husband’s birthday is not far from mine, on the 21st (also during the week of unity), we celebrated it together with friends from Rome and had gone to a beautiful Church in the centre of Rome. Rome does not lack beautiful and impressive Churches.

As you know my schedule is quite full already for this year and I noticed a lot more openings there where the doors seemed shut for a while proving that the Lord is on our side. Although we will always now and then find resistance from some people or some groups who made up their minds to veil their eyes so as not to see the truth, the day always comes when the Lord shatters the doors wide open and makes His passage through.

The appeal that we find constantly in the TLIG messages is an appeal to reconcile with God and neighbour through repentance. You entered voluntarily into the race so continue in that speed to obtain your prize in the end.

In God’s love,
Vassula
