Our Lady’s tears

26 February 2001 15:55

Our Lady’s message in Medjugorje on February 25th, 2001 was:

“Dear children!

This is a time of grace. That is why pray, pray, pray until you comprehend God’s love for each of you.

Thank you for having responded to my call.”

The first part of this message seems to be relevant to the contents of the following email, received from Suzy and Avo Vardanian in Australia a couple of days ago. However, first, a little background information may be helpful.

On December 8th, the feast of the Immaculate Conception, last year, a Catholic friend of Suzy (who is an Orthodox) visited her to show her a statue of Our Lady which she had just bought as a gift for a relation. While Suzy viewed the statue, her Catholic friend suddenly said out loud what she suddenly felt within her – that the statue must stay in Suzy’s house. Suzy, slightly reluctantly, eventually agreed to this and noted that the friend was now a little annoyed as she realised she was going to have to find another gift for her relation! Suzy placed the statue at the centre of a little altar.

Vassula has just completed a visit to Papua New Guinea and will now travel on to Australia for a 10 day visit. There have been many severe and repeated problems with the arrangements for the meetings arranged during this visit. Suzy and Avo have overall responsibility for Vassula’s visit to Australia.

Suzy sent the message, below, on February 24th. The statue is continuing to weep.

Dear TLIG friends,

Just a word of encouragement, Our Mother has come to us this afternoon with her tearful eyes. Her statue of the Immaculate Conception on our altar, started weeping this afternoon around 5:00 pm. I think She wants us to know that She is behind all this operation with a heavy pain in Her Heart. Let us stay joined in the Holy Spirit and the Two Hearts that are leading us in this battle.

May God bless you all, and Our Lady keep you in Her Immaculate Heart.
